Just like in very Windows you can also find UAC in Windows 10. Many people do not know much about UAC, it’s causes why actually Microsoft created such a dialog box which annoys you every time you install any new application or anything. Many people are often surrounded with many question just like Why does UAC comes up every time I install a new software. The reason behind is to keep the User notified about the softwares which have been installed. UAC is just there to show you the permission the installed software is asking for whether you would like to grant access or not. Not like every time that you have ignore it….

Pro’s Having UAC Enabled :

Cons Of Having UAC Enabled :

  • You will be annoyed with the repetition of the same permissions many time.
  • It might forcefully come up while turning your PC On or else while working without even running any application because it is already running in background.
  • Sometimes if your PC is slow it might happen that it won’t come up on time and you keep waiting for it, just to approve it.

How To Disable User Account Control In Windows 10

There are Two ways which can be used to Disable UAC In Windows 10. Any one of the Two can be used to disable UAC if the first method fails then you can go for the second method to disable uac.

#Method 1 : From Control Panel

  • Step 1 : Click on “Start” Button and open Control Panel.
  • Step 2 : Now, Open “Start” inside Control Panel and then open Change User Account Control settings.
  • Step 3 : When you click on Change User Account Control You will Notice some lines as given below
    1.)Always Notify Me Whenever Permissions Are Needed
    2.)Notify Me Only When Programs Tries To Make Changes In My Computer
    3.)Notify Me Only When Programs Try To Make Changes To My Computer (Do Not Dim My Desktop)
    4.)Never Notify Me Whenever Permissions Are Needed
  • Step 4 :Finally, after a simple restart you will able to see the changes done in UAC.

#Method 2 : With The Help Of MSCONFIG

  • Step 1 : Open RUN on your computer. You can either Go To “Start” and click on “Run” Or else you can Hold Windows Button + R for 2 seconds.
  • Step 2 : Once you open Run, Make sure to Type in the following : MSConfig. It will show you a set of system configuration files.
  • Step 3 : Now, select the “Tools” tab.
  • Step 4 : You now have to click on Change User Account Control and then click the Launch button.
  • Step 5 : When you click on Change User Account Control You will Notice some lines as given below
    1.)Always Notify Me Whenever Permissions Are Needed
    2.)Notify Me Only When Programs Tries To Make Changes In My Computer
    3.)Notify Me Only When Programs Try To Make Changes To My Computer (Do Not Dim My Desktop)
    4.)Never Notify Me Whenever Permissions Are Needed.
  • Step 5 : That’s more than enough to Disable UAC.
